Mentor: Dr. Thomas Michel

I’m currently a research fellow at BWH and HMS. I received my PhD in Biology from Case Western Reserve University, where I studied the regulation of cellular differentiation by Ezh2 via interaction with retinoic acid signaling during murine skin and muscle development. I joined the Michel lab at BWH in October 2021. I am currently interested in understanding the redox regulation of diabetes by utilizing genetically altered mouse models. My project focuses on peroxidative stress-induced dysfunction of pancreatic ß-cells and explores the underlying biochemical and metabolic mediators causing diabetes.
