Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
- Describe strategies to improve the applicability of clinical trial results to individualized cardiovascular care;
- Recognize the tension between experience-based clinical judgement and the requirement for equipoise for trial enrollment, and its impact of trial conduct and interpretation; and
- Describe strengths and limitations of using “real-world” data to replace, augment or complement randomized trials.
